sick

this household has been sick. we some how got a little gi bug and it got us all. thankfully it was only a 24 hr bug so it quickly came and went but still no fun. so we havent been up to too much. claire has officially finished her pink eye antibiotic so shes feeling better (and maybe more importantly sleeping better!)

but heres something funny. this is (no joke) how she uses this particular pacifier about 75% of the time. if she puts it in this is how it goes. who cares that its pushing on her nose. it doesnt seem to bother this one. one of her favorite activities is to stand up. daddy even helped her walk backwards once! 

hope you are having a good week & are staying healthy. we are just counting down the days until mid april, when hopefully a majority of the sickness' should be gone from daycare!

pink.

pink eye. thats what we are dealing with currently. we now know claires motto is "go big" because she has pink eye in both eyes. and she threw in a cold too. lucky us. and if things are like they usually are....im next. yippee skippee. (thankfully she isnt always cranky with being sick, we still get to see her smile some too!)

in other news, claire has become a yoga enthusiast.  when going from point A to B she will army crawl/scoot. stop. go into downward dog. flop onto her stomach. and resume the army crawl/scooting to get where she wants to go. this isnt an excellent picture of the downward dog, she now is able to really get her butt in the air. 

and she even got to hang out with daddy this weekend while i was at work. 

she also might have randomly said dada last night. heard by both of us. it has not yet been repeated so im saying fluke. but im sure daddy wouldnt agree with that. :)

push ups

claire is definitely on the go. after about a week of scooting she has officially advanced to push ups. 

and learning how to play the drums.

and enjoying mango.

and just being goofy. (with the help of auntie kenzie of course)
